NEW INFORMATION *** For the day of the wedding we have added a school bus shuttle service starting to load around 3 PM and leaving the Ramada around 3:30 PM to go up to Green Gables for the reception. The bus will do a couple runs that evening from Green Gables & back to the Ramada in Ligonier.
Bus Schedule from Ramada:
Pick up at the Ramada starting at 3:00 pm & leaving for Green Gables around 3:30 pm
Return Trips to Ramada from Green Gables:
9 PM, 10 PM & 11 PM
This hotel is about a 17 minute drive to Green Gables Restaurant (approx. 12 miles).
Ligonier is a picturesque small town that has some little shops if you would that type of experience.

Please note that there will not be a shuttle offered for this hotel.
The Hampton Inn Somerset is about a 17 minute drive to Green Gables Restaurant (approx. 12 miles). We recommend staying here if you are traveling from the East (Harrisburg, New York City, etc).

These options are MUCH closer to the reception location, however, they are not major chains, so the experience may be more of a roll of the dice. But, if you are just looking for a very close accommodation, these may fit the bill!
Coal Miner's Diner
This option is a 1 minute drive or 0.5 miles from the reception location! This restaurant has some rooms for rent upstairs above the restaurant. They don't advertise the rooms on their website, but you can call them directly to book (814) 629-5518). This accommodation has more of a bread and breakfast feel.
Laurel Manor Motel
This motel is a 2-minute drive or 1.2 miles from Green Gables.
